He was a good singer and you can tell he has lots of potential and ability to learn. He was a pure introvert who is very very shy. He was very young when he started, I believed 13, and left his family. So it is quite hard for him to gain confidence to just sing even tho he has the talent. It took him a while to get the courage to just sing. He has come a long way, worked hard for what he has achieved. He constantly practice and find ways to improve. JK is now a very confident singer. Also this is an earlier part of his career. You should listen to him now, he has improved tremendously. Not just the vocal ability, he paid attention to every detail regarding his performance. He is a perfectionist, he worked hard to get his entire performance and paid attention to every detail. He was never a bad singer!

Falſetto becommeth a head voyce happeneth as ſoon as there is actiuation of the thyꝛoarytenoid muſcles but the cooꝛdination is ſtill dominantly a crico thyꝛoid function ſound. Mixed voyce is a conſtricted voice that is neither cheſt oꝛ head noꝛ a cooꝛdination between the two regiſters it is an artificial blending into a ſound that is neither, this is done by compꝛeſſion via ſquezzing the choꝛds together with varying amounts of foꝛce: but this is very bad. Auoid mixed voice entirely. Men ſhould ONLY ſing in cheſt voyce vnleſſe thy are at ſoftern dynamics, then head voice can be vſed while ſnging ſoftly. Falſetto is only euer foꝛ ſpecial euents becauſe it can only be vſed on the vowels EE and OO becauſe of the very limited ouertones that are pꝛeſent in a pure falſetto, that owl ſound, that is NOT bꝛeathy at all, and hath a great great releaſe of the aire, the aire is not "ſtuck" in the thꝛoat but free flowing. Women SHOVLD ſing in cheſt voyce at the bottom, head voice and cooꝛdinatied cheſt voice (which is iuſt a very cheſty head voyce) in the middle and head voice at the top. Women haue moꝛe nuanced cooꝛdinations and thus moꝛe options to ſing things in different regiſters becauſe of their range. Cheſt voice is a thyꝛoarytenoid dominant vocal cooꝛdination with the crico thyꝛoid. Head voice and cooꝛdinated cheſt voice is a crico thyꝛoid dominant cooꝛdination. Cooꝛdinated cheſt voice foꝛ women hath the cheſt (thyꝛoarytenoid muſcles) at maximum participation while ſtill being crico thyꝛoid dominant.

What he ſiath about the foꝛward tongue is only true if thou deſireſt to ſing with a high larynx, but high larynx meaneth ſmall voice and leſſe reſonance. The tongue ſhould be free to moue, but the main place it will go to open the thꝛoat is the tip will retract back and down away from the front bottom teeth; combined with a low larynx the thꝛoat is much moꝛe open this way. That is what great ſingers of the paſt haue done in opera, in folk, euen Whitney Houſton i her pꝛime did this. It giueth one a full dark ſound with huge reſonance, and combined with a pꝛoperly deueloped cheſt voice and pꝛoperly deueloped falſettto and cooꝛdinating thoſe two muſcular functions, the voyce is both reſonant and bꝛight while alſo being dark and round and loud and hauing clear vowels. In a natural yawn, when the thꝛoat openeth, take note of thy tongue, the tip retracteth. I know it is counter intuitiue, but the tip going back and down openenth the thꝛoat the tongue going foꝛward may open the thꝛoat but will pull thy larynx vp, oꝛ if thou foꝛceſt the larynx down anyway with a foꝛward tongue, the back of the tongue will ſtart gathering tenſion and cauſe other pꝛoblems like hauing a diuot in thy tongue which is bad.

Hi! Vocal coach here. What I think you are referring to is twang, not nasal resonance. Twang is a quality that can sound nasal, but it's actually produced by engaging the aryepiglottic sphincter (AES) above the vocal folds. Nasality or nasal resonance is produced by lowering the soft palate to allow air to flow through the nasal port. How can you tell the difference? It can be hard. But twang personally sounds brighter and harsher to me. It also gets complicated, because you could technically use both twang and nasal resonance at the same time. If you want to know which one or how much of each you are using, mimic the "wah wah" cry of a baby or the cackle of a witch and then plug your nose. How much does the sound change? If you're using nasal resonance, the sound will get snuffed out or greatly reduced when you plug your nose. If instead the sound is unchanged, you're using twang. With twang, you will also feel the muscle under your jaw bulge if you put your thumb there (unlike with nasal resonance). Hope this helps.

Hi, i like your Videos a lot. Maybe you can make a Video on how to Sing Nice/beautyfully/Dynamik. It s one think to be able to Sing high or low but to have or create a Style to Sing pleasant is truely important. What do you Focus on in the Phrase, how do you sing the vowles or Konsonant, how do you master soft and heavy within a Word or Phrase and so on. For example Rihanna (Diamonds) emphasizes different than Adele, Whitney or Mariah Carey. But they have in Common to Shape Their passage dynamically. And Not only Sing dull and without Beauty. Maybe their is a common trick? Please let me know! Thanks Natalie

Idk who wrote the first "article" and all this bullshit (certainly ANTIS) but Jungkook already sang very well from the start, just watch the video of his audition for Superstar K3 in 2011 (he was 13)... He wasn't selected but if he couldn't sing, he wouldn't have received offers from many companies to become a trainee. He has perfect pitch so I don't see how he could sing badly. People have always made up things about him to diminish his talent but he already knew how to sing and he continued to sing over and over and over again as much as he could to improve even more. We hear him singing all the time, everywhere, whether it's in RUN BTS, ln the soop, Bon voyage, Bangtan bomb, etc. He even does mini concerts during his Vlive/Weverse lives with a karaoke microphone or acapella. Everyone praises his talent and vocal abilities: idols, other singers, BTS members, producers, ARMYs/non-ARMYs, actors, etc. He is the role model of a lot of idols, not only for his vocal abilities but also for the passion and energy he puts into his performances. He is super stable when he sings, he is very versatile, he can adapt to all genres of music. He is the one who does at least 90% of the harmonizations, adlibs and records almost all guide tracks for BTS songs but also sometimes for other artists and for other members' solos. It's not for nothing that he is the main vocalist of BTS !! I wish people would watch IdaS's videos to understand and realize how talented he is, how hard he works and how passionate he is about music! I'm tired of people talking nonsense about him just out of jealousy or because they're bitter people. Is it so hard to accept and acknowledge that Jungkook is an incredible person and an extremely talented artist?! These people piss me off...
